Following the close of the Nominations Window, all submissions enter a structured and thoughtful evaluation process. Each nominee is reviewed based on a combination of athletic performance, academic achievement, character, leadership, and impact within their school and community.
A selection committee composed of experienced members of the baseball community and trusted advisors carefully evaluates each candidate to ensure a fair and meaningful process. The goal is not only to recognize talent on the field, but to honor individuals who embody the integrity, work ethic, and humility that defined Roy Halladay.
Through this process, a group of finalists is identified, leading to the selection of one outstanding student-athlete who best represents the values and legacy of the award.
Starting April 27th and running until June 8th. Submit nominations for outstanding Colorado high school baseball players who exemplify excellence, character, and leadership both on and off the field.

A celebratory event honoring the Roy Halladay Award recipient and presenting the award.
