Help us carry Roy's legacy forward by recognizing the young men who embody everything he stood for
This award was created to honor the top Colorado high school senior baseball player, scholar, and community member each year. Colorado high school baseball coaches nominate worthy seniors to a selection committee, who evaluate each nominee's attributes and select the annual recipient. The award is overseen by The Colorado High School Baseball Award Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
The award will be presented at a banquet luncheon at the Denver ChopHouse and Brewery on Friday, June 26, 2026. The recipient will receive a unique sculpture created in Loveland, CO by notable sculptor Mark Lundeen, along with a $1,000 scholarship toward his future education.
The Colorado High School Baseball Award Corporation is actively seeking charitable donations to support this initiative. We welcome contributions from individuals and businesses alike. Your donation helps us recognize outstanding young men in our community, and as a sponsor you'll receive an invitation as our guest to attend the awards banquet, your name or logo on the sponsor banner presented to the recipient's school, and recognition on this website.
